navitusCAMS Frequently Asked Questions
Central Authentication Management System is the identity and organization hub for the Navitus suite. It manages company accounts, users, org structure, product access (LMS, Survey, Sales), and secure sign-in for all products.
Getting started
CAMS is the admin control plane for Navitus. Use it to:
- Sign in once and open LMS, Survey, or Sales from the product launcher
- Create and manage corporates (tenants) and their product subscriptions
- Manage users, roles, and organization catalogs (zones, locations, branches, departments, designations)
- Run user and login reports, and (for Super Admins) emulate another user safely
On the login screen enter:
- Company Code — your organization’s domain / company code (set on the corporate profile)
- Email or Username
- Password
The CAMS web admin UI is for Super Admin, Corporate Admin, and User Admin only.
Standard User accounts authenticate for product apps (LMS / Survey / Sales) via SSO but see an Access Restricted page in CAMS.
If you were asked to change your password, complete the forced password reset first.
Roles & permissions
- Super Admin — full platform: corporates, products, all users, org catalogs, reports, and Emulation (Login As)
- Corporate Admin — own company: users, zones/locations/branches/departments/designations, reports, company profile
- User Admin — own company: manage users (not Corporate Admins), reports, company profile; no System Configuration catalogs
- User — product app access only; no CAMS admin menus
Users & organization
Open Manage Users (under System Configuration for Super/Corporate Admin, or top-level for User Admin).
You can create users one by one or use Bulk Upload (download the Excel template, fill rows, upload).
Profiles include personal details, login credentials, employment fields (branch, department, designation, reporting manager), roles, and security options such as force password reset.
Changes sync to subscribed product apps automatically.
Org catalogs define how employees are placed in the company:
- Zone → Location → Branch hierarchy
- Department and Designation flat lists
Super Admins create corporates with company code, branding, optional email OTP, GST/PAN/website, an initial corporate admin, and product subscriptions (LMS, Survey, Sales).
Subscribing a product provisions that tenant in the product app.
Product Management activates or deactivates products globally; a corporate still needs an active subscription to open that product from the launcher.
Corporate and User Admins update branding and company details under Company Profile.
Products, launcher & reports
Use the product launcher (waffle icon) in the top bar. CAMS checks that your corporate is active, your account is active/not expired, and the company is subscribed to that product, then signs you in via secure SSO.
If a tile is unavailable, ask a Super Admin to enable the subscription or activate your account.
Under Reports:
- User Details — filterable roster with CSV export
- Login Details — login audit (password/OTP) for 7 / 30 / custom days (max 90), with timezone and CSV export
Super Admins can use Login As from Manage Users to temporarily work as another user (for support).
An OTP is sent to the configured security inbox—not to the target user. Actions are audited under Emulation logs.
A banner shows while impersonating; use Exit impersonation to return to your own account.
Security & help
New passwords must include uppercase, lowercase, a digit, and a special character from
@$!%*?&, and must be at most 15 characters.
Admins can mark force password reset so the user must set a new password before continuing.
